Radioactive 3D Concept

1 day work for this amazing model Ilya Kalmikov offers for free.
Just wanted to see how fast could I work to conceptualize an idea without spending weeks on it.
First I split the model into individual parts, made a quick polycount reduction in Zbrush and projected the high density mesh to be able to manage it in substance painter+maya and not lose much detail.
Then I decided to make everything in Substance, I love Mari, but haven't checked the latest versions and Substance is pretty easy and makes everything faster to this kind of works.
Once I had all the maps that I decided to use, I exported them and built all the shaders for Arnold in Maya. I prepared a quick setup with some rocks, made some layers for the char+env+vol, put some lights to get the mood that I wanted to give, rendered and brought it to Nuke to give it the "final" look.
